National Events Showcase
A full package of roving & podium entertainment was showcased at Southbank for the MEA “brave the Rave” event.
|
Illuminated Dreamspheres, Stilt Walkers covered in lights, LED Hula-hoop girls, Incredible roving acrobats, giant fluoro Fluffy Monsters and scorching hot fire girls set the scene for this uniquely themed conference event with a futuristic cirque feel.

Acrobats Join Phoenix Team
National Gymnastics Champions, and recent winners of an International cheerleading championship in US, Phoenix is delighted to have these incredibly skilled acrobats as exclusive core members of the team.
Watch out for the flaming adagio & acrobatic routine currently being polished in the studio, which will make its debut as part of a large Phoenix fire show at the end of this month.
Currently performing their classic Adagio duo balance act in roving format, as well as being featured in stage shows, the acrobats also perform mind-blowing flips, tumbles & gymnastic flourishes, as well as hand-balance routines.

Fijian Fortunes
Needless to say Phoenix love being booked to perform in beautiful locations like Fiji! (Thanks to Factor 168 Creative Event Producers!!) All was set, with every detail planned down to the colour eyeshadow we would be wearing… but we shouldn’t have been surprised given all the natural disasters of late that things didn’t go quite to plan….

SO the event didn’t go as planned thanks to an unseasonal deluge at the event site, but incredibly the event team managed to pull together a stunning wet weather contingency in record time and delivered an amazing experience for the delegates.

Phoenix still had the most incredible experience performing alongside traditional flame warriors of Fiji, and the beautiful Fijian Indian Bollywood dance troupe.

The performances went down a treat – and here’s what Darren Kerr from Factor 168 Creative Event Producers had to say after the event:

During a mass Bollywood dance performance - the Phoenix girls performed a memorable cameo with illuminated hoops before wow’ing audience members drawn from right across the Asia Pacific region with a flame dance act enhanced with a classic Depeche Mode soundtrack remixed with Fijian lali drum beats, and the enthusiastic hoots and hollers of a tribe of dancing Fijian warriors. The result was nothing short of sensational. The mesmerised audience were shell-shocked and we were delighted.
