Almost there..
An almost audible sigh of relief from the events industry has been echoing all around SEQld as 2010 draws to a close.
Whatever the fear of the GFC did to client confidence in the first half of the year has been made up with a phenomenal tidal wave of event excitement in the latter half. And this flood of last minute events coupled with unseasonally wet weather (and all the extra work this creates), event producers & suppliers have had an incredibly busy end to the year!
So we are all nearly there.. almost time to eat, drink & be merry and celebrate the festive season and then enjoy a well deserved rest.

Dreamsphere + Contortionists = "Acrospheres"
The Phoenix Dreamspheres have been the absolute favourite new act for this festive season all over SEQld.
With 4 exceptional gymnasts leaping & tumbling on-board the Phoenix team, we have added even more visual impact to the spheres act, by having performers posing in all kinds of amazing contortion shapes inside their giant bubbles.
Up to 4 spheres available in a range of costumes and themes, perfect for large indoor events in predinner or cocktail style.
The Bubbles can even been floated on large pools or lagoon areas during evening events for a magical & surreal visual effect!

Illuminated Acts
Phoenix specialise in unique visual entertainment - so to ensure that the performers stand out in even low light environments, we have found a way to make characters self-illuminating!
Stilt Walkers, Dreamspheres, roving characters, human statues can all now have the added element of lights integrated into the costume for extra visual "wow".

Roaring 20s "Cigarette Girls"
Commissioned for a Rio Tinto 1920's themed event recently, we are delighted to introduce the new interactive "Cigarette Girls & Guys".
Carrying exquisitely hand-crafted vintage cigarette trays, performers hand out candy "cigars" or "fads" or any kind of treats you desire as your guests mingle.
Also ideal for circus-themed events, or any cocktail style function, these bubbly outgoing performers are a flexible and functional, and lots of fun!

Up to 4 cigarette girls and 2 cigarette guys are available for larger events, or just book a couple of performers to add spice to smaller functions.
This is just one of our new range of interactive characters, which also includes the very popular "CupCake Girls", and the "Green Absinthe Fairy" or our "Sushi Geishas". All of these characters are available to circulate with goodies from the kitchen to add extra sparkle & spice to your food service.
